I got a question for those of you who might be in the know. I have a backup turbo for my truck. Can I port it like thishttp://www.elitedieseleng.com/vgtsr.jpg
to get more cfm?

If the question is "can you", why certainly. Will it do any good...that's prob what you after. Some sharpe edges could prob be smoothed but I'm not sure what area of the turbo you would be porting. You'd probably be better off working w/ the sizes of the compressor and turbine wheels in combination w/ the housing size. Its a fine balancing act to make everything work at its highest efficiency.
