Ford logo?

hey i was wanting to now if i could replace my logo on the front end of my truck? is it conected to my grille or can i take it off? a rock or something hit it while i was driven.

The emblem is held on by a nut in the back of the grille. Hit the emblem with some paint stripper and it will look like this:

How many miles on the rig?? Ford should replace it under warranty. I have 33,000 miles on mine and ford replaced it. Good luck

ya iam gunna take my truck in later this week to get the other F-250 logos changed cuz there bubbled ill check into it

My '06 is doing the same thing. I think ford should replace it but I am not sure if they will or not since I have 52k on the truck. I think the emblem of all things should last more than 2 years especially when the rest of the truck is in excellent condition. Just my 2 cents but sorry for venting for a minute.

Is there an easy way to get to the nut that holds on the emblem to grill ?

Yeah. You can take the whole grill off. The 4 small bolts on top of the grill, forget what size they are, are all that hold it on.

yeah by taking the grill completely off the truck. it is held on by 4 screws on top and 4 clips under the bottom. youll need a medium length common screwdriver to get it unclipped. then it will come right off.
