Talking Snow Stg 3 Newest KIT for MPG ??

Anyone installed a NEW stage 3 SNOW Water/Meth Kit, This Kit is supposed to inject water/meth at lower Bosst pressures/EGT's in order to help with MPG off the throttle at a dead Stop ! Suppose to increase MPG by 10-15% .

I am not doing Bio Diesel and this new Price per Gallon Chit is Breakin' the Bank even when I am able to write fuel OFF as a Business Expense,,,

So 70 HP and an ability to increase MPG 10-15% across the board, NOT BAD'''
Give me some feed back guys, I know Diesel Power Mag just ran an article about the kit, but as ususal I am lookin' for some folks round here that may have it installed already...........Let me Know THANKS YALL

I've seen a lot about this water/meth. How does this water thing work? Or what does it do?

Diesel power's tests aren't exactly scientific, nor have I ever seen a bad review of a product...

Even if it does end up increasing MPG, you still have to pay for the methanol, which isn't cheap

Be carefull with the amount of meth used. It's not called drugs by accident. It is addicting and you can add just a little more, then a little more and eventualy BOOM. You do not have to add meth to the water for the cooling effect. If you do run it I would make sure you did not exceed more than 20% meth.

you can use the washer fluid just make sure it's got the meth in it of course. the pre mixed stuff is best imo though, i've seen some people go 3-4 tanks of fuel to one tank of methanol.

i backed out because the availability of meth, and on top of that, is the adittional cost worth getting 10-15% better mpg? If you like, look at the cost per mile or tank. The savings are not enough for me to consider purchasing the kit. But everyone will have their opinions...

Just dont use washer fluids with cleaners and such things in them. Rain-X washer fluid would be bad. lol

Hey Pat, do you know if the OLD stage 3 can be converted to the NEW stage 3? I flat out LOVE my water/meth kit and would like the new one but don't want to pay for it all over again.
