Tc lock up switch

Hey I have a 2007 6.0 and I was wondering if I could install a lock up switch in it? My buddy has a 3rd gen cummins and it's so nice to have that control to lock her up when we were pulling a trailer. Can I do one on my truck?

Yes you can install one...guys have done it but have only done it when they need to when truck pulling or drag racing. Personally just have your tuner write the tune however you want lockup to happen.

To save others time of reading 12 pages of nonsense from the link proved above, keep in mind they talked about having the tq locked while under light load can be hard all internal parts of the trans and especially hard on the tq converter. Also the 12k resistor is supposed to be a 22k resistor but the guy that drew this pic wrote down the wrong number. Here is the pic

Switch up: Locked 100% of the time (the millisecond the switch is up)
Switch in the middle: NEVER locks (always unlocked no matter what)
Switch down: Normal operation (tq convertor acts like the switch isn't their)
