So far with the efr

I've had the setup in the sig for a few thousand miles now. I'm still diggin it. It is a little dirtier from a dig than a stock tuned truck, but it seems to be lighting around 1650-1700 and then it's on. Averaging about 16.5-17.5 overall, depends on how much in town driving I do.

I can tow about 7000lbs safely, egt's never over 1120, I tried 12k, but it was very prone to top 1250 and would have to back out. This was with a heavy tow tune on both accounts.

Overall, I'm happy with it, and have no regrets.

That sounds like one sweet setup to me. Glad to hear it's working out for you.

Sounds like the efr is working out pretty well for you. Are you using a higher stall converter? Sounds like it lights off pretty quick.

I'm using a 2000 stall. As for boost, it will lug itself out of a hole, but its very dodgish in nature, if you stay on the charger it will snap straight to 45psi and your off.

That's awesome. Seems like that 8374 is a good turbo for an all around street truck.

Yes, I do run around on a race file. Once lit, the smoke is maybe 10% more than a tune only truck at wot. Nothing to be ashamed of, for me anyway. Lag is a hair more than pmax/stock stick truck, a .83 housing would fix that I think, but it works just fine for me as is. The highest egt's I've seen are 1525, fine by me as well.

My towing file smokes if your to hard on the throttle pulling out. Other than that, none at all. The mileage sucks on it though, about 13 overall, so I use it if I'm towing only.
