Smile SCT vs Bully Dog

Alright guys don't eat me alive here, I was curious what it is that has everyone so infatuated with the SCT programmer. I have talked to several shops in my area and no one has mentioned this tuner. They tell me Bully dog "tripple dog" is the way to go. Does this SCT show up on computers at the dealership after it is restored back to stock mode. Please help me decide which is best for me. The only thing I am looking for out of these programmers is fuel mileage and not tearing up my truck. Thanks

There must be a reason, right? Contact DJ @ DJ's Diesel Performance or Eric @ Innovative and they'll hook you up. Trust me, you'll never regret that decision...

The reason nobody mentions it is that SCT doesn't advertise like Bully Puppy and Banks... Oh and yes, you can return to stock and everything will be fine. The thing the techs will be able to know is that it was re-flashed recently.

There are many options for you to choose from. Custom tunes on a SCT Xcal3 is a great option. If you want to spend some time on the phone please call our shop or one of the other great vendors that support this site. They will all take care of you. If your not looking for stump removing power there are other cheaper options. Tell your local shop to call me, once they try a custom SCT in a 6.0l they wont remember how to spell tripledog lol.

Thanks guys, I'll do that. Fuel is pretty much killing me at the moment and I am just looking for a way to save a few bucks in the long run. I figured these programmers advertise a few miles better per gallon, well that would pretty much pay for itself in less than a year.

I had the tripledog installed a few weeks after having my truck. Rode in a Powerstroke tuned with tunes from Innovative Diesel and the SCT Xcal II and I sold my Triple Dog that night and bought the SCT Xcalibrator II from Eric at Innovative Diesel.

DO NOT GO BULLY DOG!

I've currently got a bully dog, it's not bad at all and makes gobs of power on the extreme setting, but with all the tranny problems Ive been hearing about, It's for sale and I'm going SCT.
