Intecoolers

Does anyone know if the intercooler banks sells for the 94-97 7.3 would fit on the 6.0? and would the 6.0 cooler fit on the 7.3? I got a huge banks cooler on my 7.3 might have to switch em around if they would work..

since the radiator is basically the same size, and the core support is basically identical in the 03-04 superduties i would think the banks intercooler would work on those years, but the 05/06 superduties have some slight changes in the front(to prevent customers frome easily changing to the newer grill and headlights) i would think you may have some problems with these years.

So that's the secret? Ford's 05+ front end was deliberately designed to prevent 04 down owners from switching over to the 05 grille and headlights, etc? Well it backfired, people are doing it anyway. There's pre-modified grilles on ebay that screw and snap right onto 99ups.

It seems like a good hypothesis! When they came out that was one of the first things I thought about. Then I stopped by a dealer one day to take a closer look and noticed how much larger it is and that it likely wouldn't have just snapped in at the bottom like mine does. I'm probably not going to do it after all. I need to get a new 99-04 grille, as mine was cracked from rear ending at Jetta ricer, and his gay wing hit my grille. I'm thinkin about getting one of the aftermarket all chrome ones and getting street scene's mesh grille inserts. They seem to look really nice.
