Anyone throwing any codes after blocking EGR?
P0401 code Exhaust Gas Recirculation-Insufficient Flow Detected keeps popping up. Sorta Anoying I have up-pipe blocked and EGR welded shut
Soooo....what can be done with this idiot light

You could get a Sct tuner then get some custom tunes of your choice, (I run Elite's), Eric @ inovated or dj's are both sponsors of this site. Any how they can turn your Egr off then you won't throw a code, or you could put some black tape over the light. My 04 never threw a code before and I have the same setup as you. It might be something to do w/being an 06. That is the only ansers I have, but somebody else might know a better way

Way to go, egall! Glad you got it blocked off. Oh and the SCT is the only way I know to prevent the CEL with EGR flow...

Elite diesel sells them, but there $35.00 OR so. You can make on easily or just stop by you local machine shop and get a peice stamped out. I went with this option because I dont have the access to a welder like most to tack in a freeze plug

Discount Power Parts sells them for a LOT cheaper than that ($10) and are an ORG sponsor.
