COUPLE ?s

HAVE A F250 2004 6.0 4x4

It is hooked up to a trailer most of the time.... want better performance and mileage...

What mods to do.... programmer intake and exhaust will help and which ones? thanks

i would say afe intake or s&b ..any 4 inch turbo back and a sct xcal3 with custom tunes ohhh yeah and guages and you should be all good

SCT and exhaust. Unless you're gonna go with A/M injectors and turbo the intake won't need to be changed. The stocker is EXTREMELY good and will handle about 450 rwhp.

check out dj diesel performance they are a vendor on this site they have them and you can get custom tunes from them ....thats where i got mine

If it is used for pulling, I would recommend 4" turbo back exhaust, I think the stock air box is good, And if your load is heavy, Maybe an SCT with eco or tow tune and air bags if your trailer but your a$$ end down more than 2"s

my 05 had a 4" turbo back, with no cat, edge juce platinum, never saw an improvement in mpg. i got 13 around town and 10 pulling a 7000 lb hauler. the truck had 36000 miles on it.
i think you can get a better chip for the money.

gauges, egr cooler block off, coolant filter and imo get the airbox if you got the money and want it.

The SCT is a programmer. There are several vendors here on the site that handle this product. The good thing about the SCT is you are able to get custom tuning for your truck and your specific needs.
