AFE vs. S&B air intake.

I'm looking at 2 intakes, ready to buy one of them since I cant find a used one to save my life..

I've always heard good things about the AFE stg2, but the S&B caught my eye, and they're very close in price (s&b is 269 shipped, afe is 284+15 shipping). Here's a link to both, which one is the best bang for the buck, and who's had experience with either, feedback please!

The S&B: eBay Motors: S&B AIR INTAKE FORD F250 F350 EXCURSION 6.0 STAGE 2 CNC (item 200216014698 end time Apr-23-08 13:39:07 PDT)

The AFE Stg2: eBay Motors: AFE Stage 2 Pro Guard Intake 03-05 06 07 F250 F350 6.0 (item 280219367844 end time Apr-28-08 21:41:46 PDT)

My vote is the S&B.. i would always be carefully buying from ebay.... i know a few of us vendors carry S&B intakes for the price so you might take a look at that..

Oh I know, I was just browsing. You said you had that S&B on one of your work trucks right? How is it, any noticable noise, performance, mileage gains!?

you might find the afe cheaper on sleezebay, but the s&b is the same price all around from reputable vendors here on the org, and youd probably get it faster.
just my but i hear the S&B has better filtration numbers and better flow. you might be talking hundreths of a percent, but those couple extra hundreths of a percent can keep chit out my turbo

I've never had experience with the AFE, but I know retail the S&B is alot cheaper, but not CHEAPER as in quality. I haven't seen any mileage gain but it sounds AWESOME. Very noticeable from the DIY that was on before. And it seems to run .... healthier, you can just tell it seems to run better. The kit comes with everything you need and goes together real easy, it was a piece of cake. Plus if I'm not mistaken the S&B flows equal to the AFE, maybe .5% less but the filtration is like 99.5% efficiency, maybe more I'm not positive. For the money what you get in filtration, flow, sound, and fit n' finish, I HIGHLY recommend it.
