Turbo/Injector/Tune Question

I have been looking over the past couple days through all these topics, and I have come to the conclusion that a MTW turbo seems like the way to go.

The question I had was would I be better off getting a bigger turbo, and keeping stock injectors for longer, or just running a stage one and getting 175/stock injectors. I'm looking to get as much power as I can without putting my transmission on the line for right now. Just don't have all the money in the world right now.

Secondly, I'm currently running an ID xtreme street tune right now, just wondering what you have found who has gotten a tune that they have found that seemed like it stood out over most of them.

I appreciate everyones opinion, as I am new to turbo veichles.

Thanks in advance!

Get the MTW Stage 1 175 30's from Warren and run Eric's XXX if you're Studded.

If Not

Get a scangauge II monitor your deltas, Blue Spring, Coolant Filter & EGR delete then proceed with the modifications.

If you think you have limited funds now, add power to an engine with known weaknesses.

Bigger engine mods and trans reliability comes down to your right foot and prior trans maintenance. So their is no real answer for you.

I seen in your other post, your getting ready to add gauges. If you go with the 3 in 1 glowshift, then you should also get some sort of OBDII monitor. Just watching EGT, boost and FP isn't enough.

Yea that was to come along with all of this. Just not sure what I want to run in my truck as I already have the x3 for tuning, not sure what is good to monitor parameters. Have lots more to read.

Thanks!

I'd suggest an Edge Insight for monitoring. Either the CS or the CTS.

This thread is a good start for monitors.

Write Up: Monitoring the 6.0L PSD.

Whats the big difference between the CS and CTS, other then screen size and back up camera capability?

The CTS is a touchscreen, the CS is not.
