Anyone Running one of the Newer BPD Heavy Duty Oil Coolers?

Curious what EOTs you are seening with the Heavy Duty cooler, and how they may compare to the standard cooler. Did you go with the taller or deeper version? What drove your selection of deep or tall version?

There are a few members here running the new HD cooler, Jetjock is one of them.

The EOTs seem to be a little lower with either cooler. BPD relayed to me that the taller model is slightly more efficient.

I've been watching the results on these coolers, not completely sold that its the answer for my application - but they are working well for those that need that extra cooling (heavy towing apps / lower geared trucks (4.30/4.88 DRWs).

Wonder what it would cost to just upgrade the coolers?

I've been thinking about it too, just haven't called them yet find out.

If I new someone with a 250/350 that was going to be buying the standard BPD oil cooler kit I would pay the extra (+ some) and have them order the heavy duty kit and then switch coolers with them.

In March my friend did the BPD Factory Oil Filter version with standard cooler. His EOTs are higher than he would like (as high as 250f towing his 5vr). He called BPD recently to ask about upgrading to the heavy duty cooler. He said he expects to discuss further with BPD this week.

At this point I plan to get the taller version of the HD cooler when I do my BPD upgrade. I see no reason not to...

Tell me about it. I just bought an iPhone 5 in December and heard they're coming out with the 5s. And I heard after that there's going to be an iPhone 6! What a load of crap!

Got one in my garage waiting to be installed. Might take a little while, though... doing a full bullet proofing and head rebuild while I'm at it. My amex and I are currently not on speaking terms

Been running one before they were offered to the public. I don't have anything to compare it to though. My EOT's run right around 220-225. Got about 5,000 miles and a few hours of idling on it and have no regrets. Would highly recommend.
