SCT

Ok guys I had my oil filter blow the o ring the other day on my truck with out any warning no lights came on and oil pressure on the dash never moved. If it wasn't for the truck shutting down because of the low pressure I would of been screwed. So its time to get a some gauges. Im thinking about getting the sct livewire ts read a lot of threads on here and wanted to get a few other questions on here. 1 when I do my egr delete would I be able to clear the code with the ts? 2 My truck is stock except for the 4 inch mbrp and the 2.5 inch level kit and 315s on it, what or who has the safest tunes for a non studded truck out there. Its my daily driver and mostly looking for fuel mileage tune as I drive 50 miles a day round trip to work but would also like more power. And hoping it would help my tranny out a little bit with the bigger tires. Any help out there would be great would rather go this route then buy a edge and the sct programmer. Thanks

They did for sure.....BUT I'm not sure if the new ones have that option (on any programmer) but I think it can still be done thru custom tunes. Until the EPA stops that too

Here's my suggestion: Edge Insight CTS with whatever expansion sensors you want o use. Buy a SCT tuner, buy it cheap. The investment can be returned if you move on to another device or sell the truck. Even if you can find a VIN locked SCT cheap that would be a good option.

That was the way I was gonna go but with the price for the ts and a egt probe im still cheaper, Id rather have a all in one monitor. I sent innovative diesel a email asking them what kind of tunes that have for a stock 6.0

If you want a ts (I like mine a lot) check with Vivian at quick tricks, her price on the ts did come with unlimited tunes, she might still be doing that deal.
