alternator options.

So I'm replacing my alternator and just wanted to know what ppl are doing stock, autostore brand, dc or any other brands?

04 f250 cc sb.
Egr block off, 4 inch turbo back ss magnaflow exhaust, billet turbo wheel, 05 Harley headlights, S&B intake, XDP coolant filter, tuned with Sct by PHP, BDS Dual rear add a leaf, Firestone ride rite airbags, 2 12 inch kicker subs, infinity rear speakers, mb quart frontdoor speakers, mb quart amp, autopumpkin Android headunit, torque pro.

Anyone have a alternator to recommend. I just realized I put this in performance thought it was in general discussion.

I'm running a dc power 300 spx or some chit like that. It works great.

same here, replaced mine twice with new OEM first and still had a flickering battery light. Bought the DC and havent looked back. It did take a while to get it though...

I looked at the dc 185 OEM replacement . Was wondering if there was any other good choices. If I get a dc one will I need to change any wires to make them work right with that much more power?

I Put the Advance 140 amp on my truck about 7-8 months ago and just replaced last week; will be saving up for a DC Power or another vendors and use the advance for a spare.
