Newbie Question: Does my truck have exhaust?
I just bought this truck recently and I noticed that the tip does not look factory, which kind of makes me think that maybe the exhaust is not factory. Let me know what you all think! I had to put them on photobucket since they are to large to post here.

Looks like a simple do-it yourselfer but better than factory..see if your cats still on if so get rid of it along with that muffler

Yea not factory, if it was there would be a ford part number stamped underneath the tip. Sound any good?

Is the cat further up towards the front of the truck?
I am very new to diesel. Sorry for all of the questions! I will learn pretty quick! Are you saying remove the muffler & cat completely? Wont that throw codes?? Seems like that might mess with the 100,000 mile warranty as well wouldnt it?

Yeah a bunch of guys on this site are running without the cat and muffler. Yes, the cat is further toward the front. It won't throw any codes if you straight pipe it. Most put their cat and muffler back in to take it in for warranty work... Good luck!
