ok i have an 07 reg cab 4x4 that tows btween 10k-22k. What is the highest tune i can run without hurting the truck. I was told over a certain hp level the check engine light would come on while towing. It is straight piped and will either get gauges or maybe the livewire. Right now it has the Dr. Performance 70hp160trq module but definately want more hp plus i'd like to help the tranny out.

your egt's must be insane with 70hp over stock plus upwards of 22k. IMO, org member to org member, get gauges before you worry about custom tunes via xcal/livewire. After gauges are taken care of you might be able to use a tow aggr. file but Im not sure if you can use that file while towing up to 22k.

My EGT has gotten to 1155*F but i usually stays between 750-900*F never have to go any faster than 4 lo will allow while towing 22k usually 12k-14k on interstate. I stll need to get boost gauge other than factory one. Yeah egt was pt in b4 the module.

well in your sig it says 'egt gauge soon to come...' So I guess I am unsure whether you have one or not. either way, the livewire comes with the gauges if you wanna get it all in one.

With my brothers 03 we have pulled about 20k with aggressive tow and the EGTs never got higher than 1000 while accelerating..

YEAH just updated the sig I would rather have an all in one. I'll look into weight restriction i figured i was pushing it with that much weight.
