quick accufab question

Can I use an 05 accufab intake elbow on my truck? Any modifications need to be made? Bassn_07 has got one for me for at an amazing price and I hope I can make it work on my truck.

Yeah, I'm sure you can. I have heard of someone else running an 05 elbow on their early 6.0, but I don't recall who it was and what they had to do to make it fit.

you have to remove the stock throttle body, and if it throws a code, remove the position sensor from the throttle body and leave it plugged into the harness.

What is the benefit of running an 05 elbow on the early trucks? Why not just run 03-04 elbow they make?

to eliminate the throttle body. Just another intake restriction ford put in place to help the egr system.

Sweet. one more mod to the list while the cab is off. may be sooner than later since I'm puking up the ying yang right now but I should be able to limp it until mid june.
