Good luck selling the 05, no one really wants them. Unless they are looking for a replacement or repair. I plan on sending out my 03 to get re-worked when/if I ever get injectors. That way there will not be any down time, I can just bolt that stocker up and keep trucking.

I won't sell it if I can't get a decent price out of it. I'll just clean it up and put it on the shelf in the garage for a spare. It only has 59k on it.

If/when I change it out I am thinking I'll probably go to 160's with an II 62/70. I want to keep it real streetable and it's the tow rig for my Cobra open track car.

I need to get head studs first and do some fuel system work though. I need to build a heated system (I run B100) and want to go with a regulated return setup.

Sounds like a nice plan! I am hoping one day to just run some 190's that is all I want, nothing insane or unstreetable like you said, but enough to have some fun with.

I also have a long way before that happens though lol.

Can someone please elaborate on what exactly the VGT solenoid is?? Is it something you have to buy when doing the swap on an 06? Also will the stock boost guage still work with the 03 turbo? Thanks for enlightening me!

I bought mine from a member of this site, practically brand new in the plastic wrap.

the vgt solenoid is what controls the vanes. you can use the one that comes with the 03 turbo but the newer turbos have an upgraded version so i used my 06's when i put my 03 turbo on. and yes the stock boost gauge will work.
