Should I get an edge insight cts?

My truck is completely stock and I've been hearing and reading how I should get a monitor. Is this a good idea? Is the insight cts a good one?

I'm also wanting to get a sct tuner. Will these two work okay together?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Yes. Best 1st addition you could install. I got the cs and shows you everything you need. An edge accessory you should also consider is the egt probe. Cs or cts is a great investment for watching vital temps and possible pre mature failure

Agreed. It allows you to see problems coming rather than fixing them once something bad happens. First thing you should buy, IMO.

The monitor should be the first thing you add to the truck. Shame to let the cost of a tuner keep you from buying the parts you need to keep the truck on the road. Check my threads in my sig for a lot of what you need to know and watch out for with the 6.0L.

Any questions, just ask.

As for it working with a tuner, as long as you use a flash tuner like the SCT, you wont have any issues.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES.......and YES!!!! Basicly what you have now is a computer without a monitor,the computer will run but you cant see what it is doing. So you can just keep running it,blindly with the hope all is well or you can get a monitor and get pro active.

i'd get a livewire TS 5015 and 3 custom tunes and don't put the tunes on until you have bullet proofing done

Their are also other monitors a available that cost less. DashBoss for iOS devices (iPad/Itouch/iPhone). Torque for android based phone/tablets. ScangaugeII.

dang, beat me to it. LOL

OP yes get a monitor. best mod in my book. Those factory gauges just dont cut it on these trucks like they do on fiestas or something like that. I believe it is imperative that you are able to see what is going on so you can catch potential problems before they leave you stranded.
