I knew it was a matter of time!!!
So I noticed that a turbo shop is now building turbos and are same as the ones I have spent so much to research and develop. I knew it was going to happen and that is why I have not stopped to develop better turbos for the 6.0. They are copying ideas just like all the other vendors had have their ideas copied. Intakes, injectors, tuning and so on. I wish them and anyone else luck to build the same things as me. I learned a little late on stage 1 and Hybrid but not the rest, what do I mean? well I had the compressor wheels manufactured by a company in China that doesn't care about exclusive manufacturing so other companies and shops can get the same wheels to make same product.
I have stopped them building any of my wheels of new sizes and design and found one that will grant me exclusive rights. I have a new turbo coming out the and will be a 66mm VGT, spent a lot of money and research to get this turbo to run 175 and 190 injectors. I also have a new stage 4 coming that will have the exclusive compressor wheel that is bigger then the stage 4 right now and will be a monster.
I have also seen that there are shops out there trying the gt40 wheel in their turbos to make them into a clone of my stage 3 and 4. Good luck with that one, a standard gt40 wheel won't work and will melt anything above 1700 degrees, there is only one gt40 wheel that will handle 2000+ degrees and nitrous all day long. Actually soon to be two gt40 wheels, one that I will be having custom made again bigger then the gt40 and stronger that will be exclusive. I maybe new to building turbos but I did all my homework, and trail and errors. I have also found out a lot about what makes the 6.0 powerstroke tick and what combos work the best.
I will be spreading out to the 6.4 and have wheels being made as you read this again keeping exclusive rights, why should I pay for development just to have someone buy it after words and sell it. I will also be moving to 6.7, later and even some other brands of diesel trucks.
I will continue to research and develop the best turbo I can build at a fair price, and if some other want to copy at least acknowledge that I was the guy that started it. I welcome the competition and the best complaint is being copied, hopefully the end result is just more options for turbos out there. I do think something is rather funny is that some of the haters are jumping on their bandwagon.
