03-07 Boost Gage Attachment

Is there a simple MAP line or other location to hook up a boost gage on an 04? I have seen the write-ups on tapping the intake elbow, but don't want to do that until I get a new one. I'm planning to get a BD, or Acufab to remove the throttle body soon, and just want the gage to be functional until then. Just a temporary installation I guess. My main reasoning is that my truck has been through hell, and so has my wallet since I just got done building a WVO kit, I'm mainly just interested in the EGT's so that I can compare them veg. vs. diesel. Any info is appreciated.

You can use a plastic tee to hook the boost gauge up to the map line but it isn't as accurate as tapping the intake elbow and hooking the line up to that.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Not interested in the acuracy point at the moment. I just didn't want a non functional gage until I get the new elbow.
