6.0 turbo machining

Has anyone machined the stock housing on our turbos to fit a bigger wheel? How much can you machine them? Could you take them big enough to fit a powermax wheel?

You have to machine the backplate as well, but yes you can punch it out to fit a powermax compressor wheel (63.5mm x 88mm).

Stock housing will accept up to a 64.7mm not much left after that, and as stated the backing plate needs machining also. Stock backing plate is 82mm and powermax wheel is 88mm.
