What Next?

Hey Guys,

I am new to the forum. I have a 2004 F250. Based on the info I read off the forum and info from sources I trust. I have placed an order for MBRP 4" turbo-back kit, Sct X3, Banks intercooler kit, AFE stage 2 cold air intake, and an edge insight w/egt probe kit. What can I now expect from the stock parts left behind? Problems, things to look out for, etc. What should the next step be? I was told not to expect to much more life out of my clutch and to replace it with a Southbend. Any thoughts or feedback, no matter how trivial, would be greatly appreciated. I am new to performance upgrades and need all the help I can get.

First off, welcome to the site. this is a great place to find tons of information and meet tons of great people!!!!

i know you can expect to have a completely different truck after the install of the performance parts yo have. your clutch life will depend on your driving habits amd how much power you are putting to the drivetrain. you made a good choice with the SCT X3, who did you get it from and are you going to be running custom tunes? you should also fill out your signature to help us see what you are working with.

Welcome to the site and I'm sure any problem or question you might have the people here can guide you the right way.

I must say that you must have done your research because the items purchased is a good way to start. As for what's next it depends on what your bottom line goal is. For me it's 500+ rwhp that's still a very street able truck. You might want to think about making sure you're getting enough fuel to the injectors by purchasing a fuel system. There are many out there and I'm sure people will chime in with their opinions but I went with DJ's Fuel Intensifier and I couldn't be more happy with the performance.

2005 Lariat cc 4x4 Wedgewood Blue
AFE Stage 2 intake, Accufab intake elbow, Spearco intercooler, Banks monster exhaust
SCT 2, Tunes by DJ (looney tune), ID (Extreme street and race), and Dfuser
Arp headstuds, 190cc cass injectors
Almost installed: NXD 2002 Nitrous with automatic bottle opener, 4.10's, Elite's VGT-SS turbo, Fass 150/180, and FS2500

2007 Jaycom 34SS RV on Kodiak 5500 Chassis
Duramax/Allison with PPE set on level 3 and Transgo Jr. shift kit for the 6 speed.
