PPE tuner

I sold my Edge yesterday. Instead of getting a SCT tuner I went with a PPE tuner it is 215 hp. I am also having them set the line pressure up a little bit for the tranny. I guess I will find out if it is any good or not, but it has to be better than the edge. They also said they can program it for the turbo I am getting, an Aurora 3000. So I guess it is Kinda a custom tuner, cookie cutter all in one.

Congrats on the purchase, but the SCT would get the job done better for ya. And im sure you know already, but just because it says 215 horse tune your not going to get 215 horse extra

I think it is suppose to get 160 to 170 to the ground.

I hope, the only thing negitive I heard about them is that they can be hard on the tranny. But i think the driver of the truck also has alot to do with that.

Well I've had tranny problems since day 1 and when I got this new problem its been happening ever since I drove out of Ford after the tranny got rebuilt and didn't reprogram it for 5K miles. With the PPE my truck did fine and it didn't make the tranny act any worse.

PPE's numbers are measure at the crank, not at the real wheels. So there 215 tune will be around 110-140rwhp

you can expect to see about 150 at the tires, also let us know when your ready for that A3K

Thanks for the offer Kyle. I will have to see what happens with the deal I am working out with Laguana Speed and ATS. We are trying to do a article in the diesel power mag on a Aurora 3000 on a 6.0. and i am going to be the test subject. We will have to see if it happens or not, it is all in the begining stages. there is alot of people and things to line up. I sell parts for laguana speed shop, so hopefully they can bring it all to life.

What kind of quality are ATS's turbo's?
