CCV mod is money better spent, or a Coolant Filter.

Ford seemed to think the check valves were required, just saying. My 155s with Ficm and ECM tunes never get the pressure below 60psi with my blue spring, don't really see the issue until you jump into some serous fueling, the the 6.0 or 6.4 banjos probably need replaced with better plumbing.

i have the spring, i hear alot of good things about the spring. they call it an "upgrade" but it seems more to me like an update. just ordered the bolts. still kinda unsure about em though. want good reasoning/ explenation behind it. not "i got em cause they don't have a check valve". i'm not a rocket scienctist and dont want that answer. just a real answer

All they'll do is flow a tad more due to being an open banjo. I have them and didn't notice a difference in anything. You may argue "what if the check valve stuck" that would suck. Never heard of it though.

The blue spring is a good thing. I don't hunk we should pay or updated parts, that's a cop out on fixing an F up.

Not any noticable difference on a "stock" truck especially. Maybe it's more noticable on a truck running larger injectors but why wouldn't you just do an entire RR at that point which I believe most kits come with the updated banjos anyways. Ill say tons of people run the 6.4 banjos without issue like I do. I only put them in because someone bought them for me and I did it when I did the blue spring and a few other little mods.

I put them on when I did my hg and studs, they were cheap and I didnt hear of any negative comments. Nothing gained, liked the idea of them possibly flowing better, don't know if they do. my .02
