05 grill ideas???

Took the truck up to DIA this weekend to ship my son to Granda Pa's for the summer and noticed the EOT a bit higher than I would of guessed they'd be. (unloaded 95* @75mph-85mph averaged around 220*) I did notice they would fall very quickly back around 210* when I slowed down. ECT's never got above 208*.
Looked around on here and saw a few threads that sais my #'s are normal nuttin to worry about. But I also read about air flow issues. I do not have any aftermarket lights but I do have a ranch hand guard. But looking in the front, its surprising how much the air flow is blocked between the OEM grill and the bars on the ranch hand. So Im wondering about a free'r flowing aftermarket mesh style??? grill. I laughed when I saw the price of some of these. I bet there nice but they will just be covered up so what's the point.
So do you guys think they would help? Any suggestions?

I drive through the same area(just north of DIA actually) and my truck doesnt hit those numbers, are you tuned besides the atlas?

the more air the better. could be your grill, ranch hand or maybe your fan?

06 f350: 8" ICON 2.5 resi's, ouo ala's, pmf track bar, dual stabilizers, custom 5" exhaust, 37" BFG km2's, 4.30s, 08 tailgate w/step, 08 tail lights, coolant filter, BPB oil cooler w/p 58v ficm and radiator, ARPs, 175cc, MTW s1 billet, ported intake, egr delete, onboard air and gearhead tunes
All the above just to haul the 900hp street mustang

Thanks! And completely Stock actually. Was running extreme from wildman. But traded my sct to a friend so its plain jane. And not happy with me lol

I do believe some can be blamed on the grille and ranch hand combo. A lot of bars/grille/crap to get by to get to the radiator's and then figure how many of them to get through before it gets to the oil cooler.....Im guessin the amount of air left is about that of a flea fart...
The weird thing is at slower speeds I had cooler temps...65 was great 75 not bad 80 plus = 220* so that's why I guessin air flow patterns....or am I way off?

Makes sense. Have anything to hold that ranch hand so you can remove it? Quickest test probably or move oil cooler away frok radiator

I just switched to a smittybuilt M1 mesh grille for an 08 front end to increase airflow, but I don't think they make kits for 05-07. eBay has a bunch of grilles, probably best spot to look.
