DAMN!!!...Those DEFINITELY look NICE. I'd love to swap to them, especially since I am almost at the 100k mile mark on my truck and am looking to go a little bigger in the wheel department, but $5500 for just brakes is CRAZY. I have a tough enough time paying that for a complete suspension and then wheels and tires.

I do agree that we spend A LOT to make our trucks go, but do hardly anything to help em stop.

I don't know. Maybe when I get a brand new 6.7 some time I'll just do the brakes up front.

I spent nearly 8k on brakes for my race car. Stopping a large truck is a large chore. If I towed heavy or felt my brakes to be the least bit inadequate, 5500 would certainly be a small amount to feel safe again.

I agree with Nate, they are VERY nice looking and I am sure they work great, but that is a pretty hefty price tag. I know I couldn't afford them.

Good luck with it all and I hope you get some business from here.

Thanks guys. I didn't say they're for everyone.

But trust me; $5500 for what you get is an insanely good deal. There are quite a few happy customers having paid the "former price" who will be equally frustrated with the new price! lol

For guys with larger tires and still tow heavy, this is awesome. Just as one installs numerically higher ring and pinion set to offset the leverage larger tires have on the axles, larger brakes should too be installed for the very same reason.

What are you looking at for minimum Rim size to accommodate these rotors?

I'm sure you have something in the way of before and after numbers?

Right off their website:
Quote:
Application: Our massive 16" Front kit is ideal for all F250 and F350 Trucks where improved braking response and greater fade resistance is desired. Massive six piston calipers assure balance clamping forces for long pad life and minimal taper.

Fit: Requires 20" or larger wheels.

Notes: Does not fit 2WD trucks. Front hose are about 30" long. We stock two longer sets for lifted trucks: +2.5" and +4.0" longer.
