Firm quick shifts are actually better for the transmission than slow smooth shifts. When you plug the x3 into the truck and select custom tune, and you pick the tune you want, it should ask if you want to change parameters. Hit select to choose this option and then just scroll through the options until you find an option that says shift percentage (I believe that is what the option is called). It should be at 0% if you want firmers shifts you increase that number up to 25%. If you want softer shifts you make the number less. Or you could just call innovative and tell them you want the truck to shift smoother and they will take care of it.
