I was told by a paintshop to be careful because that stuff peels (scratches) pretty bad and I didn't want to have to deal with that.

I got my insight yesterday and put it in. prity easy really.. since i already had a hole for my egt probe. I like the color of my pod it is a brown instead of silver of the juce it almost matches my dash. I like the adjustable color screen and i did not know how much stuff there is i can monitor!! Thanks for the tip Terry

When i installed it one of the screams had instet MPG on it and it worked.. i decided to move it around and i cant find that option again. Dose anyone know where it is in the menu dose it have another name? or am I just not looking hard enofe?

Does the Edge Insight provide instant and average fuel mileage readout?
Also wanted to know if the audible alarm is loud enough to hear over wind noise and a roaring engine?

Lastly does anyone know who has the best price on one of these with the EGT connection and the dashpod?

What is everyone getting for a reading on the Torque converter slip with their Edge Insight? Mine goes all over the place. From like 25 to 16899. Makes no sense to me. Not sure if the gauge is messed up or if it’s my transmission? Also I wanted to monitor my fuel pressure and the only one that works is the INJ PW setting. What is this suppose to read and what does it stand for??

Thanks!

My Edge came with the version 1 software and disk. Can I upgrade it just by installing the Version 2 firmware? If so does anyone have a copy or can I register my Edge with MSD? I have never been able to get the software delivered to work right. On my Vista box the software runs and I can configure offline and save profiles but it won't download to the Insight. On my XP box the software installs but just plain won't run.
