diesel newbie

I have a 03 f-250 6.0L and I am thinking of putting on a K&N intake and getting an Edge chip for it. My question is, have you heard of any problems with either? Or do you have any suggestions for me. Your input is greatly appreciated. Russ

Actually Russ since its a 6.0 no need to upgrade the intake at all unless you are going for more than 450hp. The stock one is excellent. But i would skip the edge and look into a custom tuned SCT

Stay away from KnN. Keep the stock intake, or go with AFE. And I'd get an SCT over the Edge.

My bad Russ I thought I read 7.3. Rugrats distracted me. I would stick with the stocker as far as the intake. Sorry again about that.

If it was me, i would go with an AFE stage II w/ a pro guard 7 filter and i would get an SCT w/ custom tuning from any of the vendors, they all make awesome tunes!
