Just joined the ARP club

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who is willing to pass their knowledge onto someone they don't even know. Makes you feel good that there are people left who are willing to help someone out without expecting something in return. Just like my dad taught me (thanks dad)!

I just got done with putting new head gaskets and ARP studs in. Also did the SCT, dummy plugs, standpipes, and new belts and hoses. I had the heads decked and checked. The machine shop took 0.004 off but did a valve job/rebuild also. He advised that we could probably get away with not doing one but they did not recomend it. Very happy with their work. Truck is back up and running great. I am giving it a couple weeks of shake down before I throw a hot tune on it but I can not wait.

Could not have done any of this without the people on here. I know I see a lot of these up here but just wanted to say my thanks to everyone.

Nathan

Congrats Nathan. Feels really really good after doing all that when you hear it crank up and run right. I love working on my truck and cars. Glad the org was able to help you with this.

I was the same way. When I first got my truck I said I was going to do everything I could to not put ARP's in. Well....then I got bit by the bug and now it has ARP's

Also looks like I have a little more work to do. I have some light grey smoke when I take off from a stop and I need re-seat my up-pipe cause it is leaking. Going to check all my injector clips and pull the turbo again to seat my up pipe.
