Unhappy emailed tunes

got my tunes from eric and i don't have a clue how to get them in to the sct. i am computer illiterate. PLEASE HELP. thanks gyus and gals

he should have sent a link on how to do it.

You need the livewire updater program, then start that program, then lick load live tunes, select the file, upload. viola!

x3livewireupdater is what mine is called.....might be the same, if you see the same buttons, prob it.

open the e-mail that has your tunes and save the attachments to your computer, in a place where you can find them..

go to this forum and download the drivers/software that Eric/Ted specifies...

if you did that correctly, you should have a new SCT icon on your desktop...click it and you should open this screen..



click "live load tunes"... it will ask for you to plug the SCT into your computer...you need a USB A(SCT) to USB B(your computer) cable, which is not included with the SCT...

it will ask you to select the tunes from the saved location on your computer...browse and select one at a time and give them a title to be displayed on your SCT's screen..

get them in/load them up and have fun!!!

I think he figured it out as he said in another thread he was using the new tunes.

Man I loaded mine onto the x-cal when I was hammered one night, woke up the next morning and went and drove it around. I couldn't tell you in the morning how the heck I got them on there, but I did, couldn't have been too hard haha.

thanks everyone. my wife helped me figure it out. ain't she sweet! I AM JUST HARD TO LIVE WITH WHEN TRUCK DOES'NT RUN RIGHT. LOL
