Currently I have a BPD oil cooler and the GoGo intake manifold.
Instead of plugging the water outlet on the BPD transfer block but I decided to run it back into the degas bottle to help with purging air from the system.
But when I first installed the GoGo intake I still had the OEM oil cooler and was using the supplied GoGo modified water outlet with a 3/8" hose returning the water from the oil cooler to the degas bottle. That was when I first had issues with ECT/EOT deltas, before the GoGo manifold I had a 5 degree delta and right after installing it the delta went up to 20 degrees. I was pretty sure the reduced water flow through the oil cooler had caused the increase in oil temps so I experimented with some tee's in the water return, running it into both of the small ports on the degas bottle which reduced the delta by 3 or 4 degrees. Also the return port on the degas bottle has a very small I.D. of about 3mm which I drilled out to 5mm.
I definitely agree with what Mitch did using the 3/4" hose to return the water
Not long after that I installed the BPD oil cooler and haven't looked back.
