FIRST OFF MY TRUCK IS A 2006 F-250 CREW CAB LARIAT FX4 OFFROAD.
I PUT THE SUPERCHIPS FLASHPAQ ON IT AND LEFT IT IN TOW MODE.
MY FUEL MILAGE WENT DOWN TO LIKE 12MPG

. IF I PUT IT ON THE PERFORMANCE MODE WILL IT HELP MY MPG OR KILL IT EVEN MORE.
AND WILL LONG TERM USE OF PROGRAMMER HURT MY TRUCK?

Usually the higher performance tunes improve the fuel mileage IF you can keep your foot off the go pedal

I have been running the flashpac 1805 for about 1.5 years, use the tow mode when towing more than 10,000 pounds, but run around in the tow performance mode most of the time. Have had NO problems major or miner since the original down load, personally I really like the flashpac. Although most on this message board will say SCT (super chips tuner) It is a safe tuner, meaning not a lot of big HP or torque, Your truck will run good though out it's life with this tuner.
