Newbie on the right road?

I recently bought an '05 f-350. I do some towing of a 4place snowmobile trailer along with a deckover with my fullsize blazer. Ive been doing alot of reading on mods. The plan is MBRP 4 inch cat back exhaust. It also sounds like I definately have to get an SCT with custom tunes. Does this seem like a good combination and if not what do I need to watch out for? Also is there any preference between getting the livewire or xcal3? Thanks in advance and any other advise is appreciated!!

I definately dont miss my Hemi!

Yes, you are on the right road for sure!!

Start with Exhaust and determine what style guages will work best for you. Once you have the those, get the SCTX3 w/custom tunes and you'll be set!

some kind of Cold Air Intake would help too. And you could just straight pipe, or keep the muffler and delete the CAT, that's what alot do. Unless you don't have the $ or don't like the noise (if so you're )

Thanks, this site is full of great info! I forgot to add about the intake. When I bought the truck it came with a K&N intake.

So I thought I knew what i wanted exhaust wise. After listening to different clips online im more confused. I like the deep tone of a 5" but I dont want to yell in the cab. Is it easy to go back later on and add a muffler delete and what not? Is there any benefit from going turbo back instead of just cat back or is it just louder? Theres so many options Im a bit lost now. Thanks!
