Need some advice please

Well Ive been on the fence for a while about maybe changing my wheel out in my Powermax. Since i put my 190/stock injectors and had Eric rewrite my tunes and also bought new tunes from Gearhead (which are great) my question is would changing the wheel out help with egt's or would i be better off getting another turbo and sell mine. Ive had the powermax for under 20,000 miles and i know a few people that would like to have it for a buget build. Next would it be worth getting water/meth injection? Running @70 egts are @ 750-780 wot 1450 for a second and i get out of it. Its controllable but annoying at the same time. For my last question, being since im able to do the work myself, would it be worth building my own transmission with better parts? This is my DD and i pull some but nothing more than 10k-12k and my boat is @3,500lbs....

Sorry for the long post but ive been reading a lot and cant really find the answer i want or need.

Thanks in advance,
Casey

to be honest the egts you describe don't seem out of control at all . if it were me I would get the wheel and if you don't like it sell the turbo with the wheel . I don't have a powermax but I installed a mtw billet wheel on my 03 turbo and it lowered egts around 50-70 when crusing and 90-190 on wot runs . I was happy with the new wheel . mabey some one with a powermax will chime in

If your funds allow you too, I would consider a MTW stage 3. Adrain is doing some amazing tweaks with his turbos, you will not be disapointed. That seems to be a great combo. But I'm positive your trans is on borrowed time.

Thanks for the replys. Ive been reading up on that turbo as well but im thinking i need to concentrate funds to the trans. Im trying to find the parts to do it but not having to much luck. Im not sure what kind of Hp im putting down yet cause its a good drive to use a dyno. I know if i run a 1/4 mile on my edge i hit 91 mph @ 14.7 sec

Suncoast has the parts to build your trans as does PATC. Our Supporting Vendor SAP Performance is a reseller for PATC. So do ATS and Elite Engineering.
