new exhaust

I have an 07 f350 dually, it has the tow boss package on it. What is the best after market exhaust system for it? And is it better to get a cat back system or do away with the cat and run it all the way? I am looking for milage and sound, performance would be nice also.

id go with a 4" with no cat. brand is all preference but i personally like mbrp. like said above, if you have emissions then keep the cat if not ditch it, that alone will give you the sound

Not to be a wiseguy or smart azz but why would you go with a 4" over a 5"?

a 5" isnt needed unless you are making some nice hp. from the sound of his post "performance would be nice" doesnt sound like hes after a big hp truck. either one would work fine

I would like to go after tye horse power later, but right now just dont have the funds to do that. Just wanting some better sound coming out right now. Maybe next year i will be lookiing at the bpd oil cooler and a few other things to help with reliabilty. Would also like to get some gauges to monitor it all with! What else besides eot, ect, need to be monitored?

Ok, thanks. Did the diamond eye come with a muffler or are you running without muffler and cat?

Performance wise, on a mostly stock truck, a 4 or 5" will net no difference in power, 5" has a deeper more throaty sound. It's all personal; preference, when I get ready to do a full exhaust on my 6.4 I plan to run 5" just because of the slight difference in sound.
