Stacks!

I like exhaust stacks but not much for the loud cackle that the 6.0 has when standing on the go pedal. Is there a way to keep the sound I have with my silverline exhaust or am I just going to have to get use to the cackle?

You could leave the cat on with the stacks, that would quiet it down a good bit.

Thats right. They should help with the "cackle" sound you're talking about.

I have grand rock stacks. When I first put them on I had the cat in and thier internal mufflers on. It was pretty quiet that way. But I gotta be loud so I ditched the cat and went straight piped. The mufflers made a big difference in sound. It's an option.

they dont really sound that way. at least mine didnt. fyi the guy who owns my old truck is selling his. i just posted them. have pics of what they look like.
