Snorkel..

I have been thinking about putting a snorkel on my truck...But I am only able to find one for a 7.3 .....If I go with this one do yall think I could use a 7.3 intake system moddified to fit? Or does anyone know of one for the 6.0 ??

I only know of one member on here that has a snorkel and that's the Lone Ranger who resides Down Under. Maybe he'd have some options for ya.

I would assume, that since it's a snorkel, not a regular intake that for the 7.3 it would just be able to suck in more air, because you won't have to worry about engine-bay-setup, know what I mean? I think you should be able to use it ... but then again there may be a reason I'm ignorant of that it's for the 7.3 and not just Universal.

In a old issue of diesel power they had a Powerstroke with a snorkel can't remember what engine though.

I believe the one in Diesel Power was a Red 7.3 but bet you could make it work

I have seen 2 a red one and a silver one both were 7.3's...I may order and see what I can figure out....I have wasted money on dumber ideas...LOL...
