Daily driver opinions

I have purchased a set of Warren 175-30 injectors. I have all supporting mods studs and deleted cooler etc. I will add a fuel system sump tank A1000 pump good filters and eventually a MTW hybrid. My question is would this be dependable enough with some track time every now and then and drive every day maybe even a trip with the family?

It will be dependable, but taking it to the track and romping on it and having fun with it may hurt the transmission. So if you add funds for the trans you should have a dependable fast truck.

Yes that will be a fun combo. My truck was around that power level for the last year before I had my trans rebuilt. My clutches were on there way out when I had it done. It was still running fine at that point but you could see the clutch material was really worn and the steels scorched. So start planning for a tranny rebuild with at least extra clutches and steels. No need to go crazy with billet stuff at that level but extra clutches and steels will help.

If your tranny is in good shape now, just drive until it croaks, then put a stout one in. It'll live for a while unless you hammer down constantly.

Thanks for the input. I drive pretty normal but I plan on seeing what it will run. I will cross that bridge when it gets here. Maybe its a long way off though.
