New 190/50s MBM

Here are the latest injectors I built and installed. Start-up was pretty smooth with about two 15-20 second cranks. They run very nicely, but I still can't believe it blew off the hot pipe boot at the turbo! I had it cranked down as usual. Go figure.

Do you have a company or just a joe schmo that likes making/building his own stuff? Just wondering, thats all. Do you flow rate your injectors?

The nozzles are flowed. The cut is exact enough to give accurate displacement flow and there is no shop within 1500 miles that can flow test HEUI injectors for me. I just like to tinker, but I have done a few sets for others. Being in Canada, living out of town and frequently working out of the country, is a bit of a PITA to make it worth doing commercially.

The one in my sig, an LLY conversion (63.5/88 on the powerstroke hot section) that I built pretty muck like Adrian did when he did his first few stage 1s. It is an awesome turbo compared to stock, but just not enough to make me happy about the smoke on full fuel. However, if you drive it nice it doesn't smoke at all. With the new injectors it still is haze to smoke up top, but much better in the mid section. I have never seen a really bad temp yet with any tune I have run. I just bought another turbo for a different project that I still have to get moving on. But it might get hijacked for an intake mod first, we'll see.

Here are some pics. I am still not completely happy about the ICP at 3,000psi. The 82% IPR may be giving some HPO away? It may be due to the PW?

The 1640rpm is 60 mph. Others are in acceleration Max temp was in xxx speed in x gear.

This is the smoke trail. It is actually pretty clean compared to the 75% nozzles.
