New powerstroke driver!

Hi Everyone,

I'm Kilian from belgium and i just bought myself a 2004 f250 6.0 powerstroke.
It seems to be in good condition, only has a little dent in the rear bumper but that's easy to fix (not like I had much of a choice since it was the only one for sale here in belgium).
Any known problems I should be aware of?
Do note that this truck has never really had to work hard. It's only been used to pull a set of jetski's.

Thanks!

How many miles does it have on it? Also is it still completely stock?

Well, there's 78000 on the clock, tho i'm not sure if they're miles or kilometers as the speedo is in kph (mph in small numbers).
And it is stock yeah, it's pretty much impossible to modify an engine here in belgium. It's only got some 20" chrome wheels (also got the oroginal wheels).

If the truck has had all of the usual maintenance as it should have and hasn't been run hard and put up wet, as we say here in the south, you could have you a good one. Is there any way you can get an Oasis report run over there? The one thing I would look for under the hood is signs for coolant pukage around the degas bottle. I am sure the washed that area off but if the truck puked too bad I am sure they didn't get it all. Trust me on this one, coolant can get in all kinds of places. It can run down frame rails and hide in weird places that unless they are really trying to clean it really good, they wouldn't get I all Just a thing to look for if you are looking to see if the headsgaskets were every blown an they didn't tell you. These trucks are know for doing that.

It's had it's maintainance as it should be, there's a maintainance report. Also I took a quick look under the hood and it didn't seem to be cleaned up, but it didn't have any signs of leaks. When I get the time to do so i'm gonna take a closer look tho.

Not sure how available parts are over there for the 6.0. Start with reading all the stickies and get a monitor. Cool to have someone from Belgium with a 6.0.
