There isn't any difference in sound with single or duals. I have heard both and they sound the same. It's just about the looks.

They will sound roughly the same, but the duals will have the extra pipe coming out the drivers side which spreads the sound out more making them sound a little louder. The single 4" is all you really need, but the duals do look pretty cool.

my truck is straight piped with duals. Sounds insane. No Cat No Muffler.
I never get tired of it. had it on for about 40,000 miles now. can be really really loud if you stomp on it, or you can learn to feather the throttle and keep it quiet past the cops. |

I was in the same debate last week before i ordered mine. For the money i just decided to get a 5 inch kit from Gus at farmboysdiesel. I have heard 4 inch on every year and have heard duals. But I love my 5 inch, i woudln't trade it for either one, and for the price i got it, i couldn't be more happy. Deff would reccomend it to anyone, i know they say you dont need a 5 inch but i like the tone much better then the 4 inch. Just something to think about. '
by the way im 5 inch straight piped too, but you have to learn like someone else said to feather it around cops because it can get really loud really quick if you get in it |
