SCT X3 firmware for Mac?

So i just got my X3 a couple days ago...i just read the user manual on sctflash.com....they said that the software for the xcal3 only works for windows based computers?

Well then i have a problem. I use a macbook. Does anyone have advice? Do i need the software to put my custom tunes from innovative on the X3?

do you need to take the PC to the truck or cn you take the chip to the PC? if possible use a friends PC to load the chip then install.

My understanding is, you want to have a back-up copy of your trucks stock settings. This is in case something should happen.

Well yes...And from my understanding, it takes the software to be able to load my custom tunes from innovative on the X3

use a buddy's computer....I have a macbook as well so I know how ya feel!

get a flash drive and once you're done on their computer, move the windows drivers, the SCT software, and a folder containing your files. Later on if you need to change something you can have your files ready to go on that flash drive.

no prob....I still haven't copied my stock file onto the flash drive...but would think it would be a good idea if I werent so lazy!

So i have got my tunes from IDP on a windows desktop, and i have downloaded the livewire/x3 updater. I have downloaded the windows drivers, too. But the livewire/x3 updater isn't recognizing my tuner. Any help with the drivers?

When i plug in the x3, do i need to browse and click on the .sys driver file?
