EDGE Juice w/attitude???

I have heard that the EDGE shells tranny's I have on on my 03' 6.0 and anything after 3rd position at full throttle will put my tranny in limp mode. Is there anything I can do to beef the tranny up?? All comments are WELCOME thanks

Honestly? It is the Edge, beefing up the tranny won't done anything, it is tripping up the comuter.

Not telling you what to do, but I would consider switching to a SCT with custom files, that with tighten up the trans.

What does it do that messes up the trans?? Im lost

The Edge doesn't reflash the computers that control everything. All it does is interrupt the signals and beefs up fuel, air, etc....It doesn't change anything in the trans system. Doesnt change line pressure, don't think it changes shift points etc....They have been known to cause trans problems especially if you drive it hard.

I just removed my Juice. The only way to get full use out of the Juice it to stack an Edge EVO on it. The EVO has a tranny setting on it. The biggest problem with the Juice trashing tranny's is that very thing no tranny controls. If you plan on keeping the Juice I would seriously consider finding a EVO (maybe on eBay) to compliment the Juice or you will have problems. I removed my because I wanted more power and the custom tunes...

Is there a chip or something to change those settings and still keep the Juice for the Power and the Outlook ( Gauges )

This is the exact reason to add the EVO if your gonna keep the Juice. The EVO will do all this. This was a flaw you would think that Edge would have fixed, and they may have in the newer models...

Several people keep the gauge part of Edge or BullyDog etc...and get a SCT to program the truck with custom files.

BUT, make sure the Edge stuff stays on stock settings, or if will screw up stuff in the computers.

There is no need to stack anything with SCTs, they will give you as much, or little power as you what.
