SCT Suggestions Anyone?
I was wondering what the difference is between the SCT XCal2, X3, and SF3. I checked out their Website but I can't really tell. It is time for my Quadzilla module to go. I hate how it doesn't improve the shifts and my truck quit smoking cold turkey the day it was installed. What might be a good tune for towing/fuel economy? Thanks

There are many good tuners out there. All of the SCT stuff loads the same tunes. Some just come with more bells and whistles. If you are just needing tunes...you would be fine with the Xcal2.

Just be sure you get some custom tunes if you want something better. Not just the canned tunes that come on them. Personnally I recomment DJ's@ DJ's Diesel Performance(a vendor and supporter of the ORG., but I can't say I've heard anything bad about any of the tuners people around here deal with...

If you already have gauges I would go with the xcal2 or xcal3 if they are no longer selling the xcal3 if you do not want to install gauges then look into the SCT Livewire. It has the built in gauges. The Livewire hold a couple more tunes than the xcal does. They are not "shift on the fly". I have personally run just about all of the tuners here on the site and have nothing but good things to say about any of them. They can write you a specific tune for towing. You will so happy you will not be able to wipe the smile from your face! I am sure there will numerous replies in this thread before it is all said and done! Good Luck!
