need advice on exhaust

well as of right now i have just open exhaust. it stops right underneath the cab. gets real fumey when at idle but sound awesome. very loud whistle. if i do full exhaust, should i go before or after the rear tire? i know that before the tire will soot my rim up but looks pretty cool. after the tire will quiet up the loud whistle which i dont want. decisions decisions what should i do. was also thinkin bout just leavin it the way it is but hate the fumes. help please

Duals before the axle looks real nice, but the state police can write you a ticket for having the exhuast exit before the axle.

I thought the exhaust just had to exit past the cab, to be legal, b/c of the fumes?

Maybe, but thats not what the state police in michigan claim, but they also believe my truck is stock hieght

haha im an idiot.... didnt think of that.... well i ahve a2003 6.o with a straight 4inch turbo back and i whistles like no ther but iono if all the other componets in the 05 will still allow it whistle like mine..... i had my go behind the rear tire with a 6inch tip and it looks pretty sharp

oh it whistles loud. louder than usual. i had a 03 f350 before this one with 6" stacks and this one whistles way louder. it cause of the open exhaust.

oic well trhats pretty sweet...... but theres a guy on myspace named b-shaw that has almost the same truck as u with the in front of the wheel exhaust....
