down pipe/ up pipes

alright i've heard that a true 4" down pipe is better than a 3.5" which is what mbrps exhaust came with just wondering where i can get the real 4" pipe from and if anyone knows if anyone sells better aftermarket up pipes for the 6.0 seen for 7.3

CFM+ INTAKE ELBOW
4" TURBO BACK STRIAGHT PIPE NO CAT
SCT W/ VIVS TUNES
ZOODAD MOD
SUPERCHIPS DUAL LAZER GAUGE (EGT&BOOST)
ford blue spring
banjo bolts
and heck its my slowest vehicle gotta work on that

I have a Silverline 4" turbo back but not sure if it is a true 4". It was definetely bigger than the stock downpipe.

found most are 3.5 goes to 4 after the cat

if i were to guess, id say its a 3.5, judging by the way it slips into the first 4" piece. i wanted to measure it when i put it in, but after fighting with the stocker all night i never wanted to take it apart again

I know it is 4" before it gets to the cat. I like the exhaust, very well built.

my Magnaflow came with a 4 in down pipe it took some hitting with a hammer to get it in but once it was in it fit just fine and had plenty of room

I just got my 4" down pipe and cat delete in from RPM outlet, I already have 4" after the gutted cat with a 5" 90 and a 6" tip in front of the rear tire, now it's gonna be true 4" all the way with no kitty and the muffler has been gone. Should be very very loud in front of the rear tire.

just guessing, id say your egt's might be a little lower, but if anything you would see a little more lag out of a bigger DP. maybe someone with more experience could chime in, but thats just my
