php custom 80 hp dd review

ok guys i have a 3015 id with idp tunes on it from them well i got bill to send me a 80 hp dd and wow its way faster then ther 120 ipd loaded on the 3015id only question i have for u guys is the transmission shift scary hard i drove the truck for like 3 hours with it and it bucks when it shifts gears. also i noticed the trans takes alot longer to shift then the idp tuneing have any of u guys run into this problem

i like firm fast shifts . not too sure what kinda shifts you are having but the faster firmer the better . imo

Does it affect the trans shifting that hard my 7.3l didn't not do that with bills tunes

Thanks for chiming in jay and the rapid response to my order bud y'all knock the tuning out of the park the 80 hp dd felt like a 120 or 160 race tune

The 140x is what bill and I both run in our 6.0s. Bill has spent some time dialing in the TCM on this by a couple new tuning techniques he discovered. It has worked great to handle the power in my opinion.

In towing, I pulled Bills 6.0 on a tandem axel up monteagle (5 miles of 6% grade) at 60 mph running 900 to 1100 EGTs. The truck and trailer combo I would guess is in the neighborhood of 10,000 to 12,000 lbs.

Pulled 80 to 85 mph over rolling hills with out breaking 1000 degrees. I am impressed with his ability to tune these beasts. The other tunes I had couldn't do that.

That is great to hear! I ran a couple other tuners before I started working for Bill. I was happy with the other tunes and thought my truck was quick.. Then Bill got ahold of my ECM and wow. His tune filled in the dead spots in the other tuners and really hauls in comparison.

My tires have taken quite the toll.

So the hard shifting bill is putting out isn't affecting the 5r110
