Exhaust Questions

What is yalls opinion on straight pipes? Can running a straight pipe damage the 6.0? I am looking into buying the Diamond Eye 4in Straight pipe from turbo back for $229, or the turbo back with muffler for $256....... all suggestions appreciated.

Nothing at all wrong with straight pipe I'm running straight pipe out to my stack.

I wish they had a exhaust I could unbolt the cat and muffler an bolt straight pipe in, an swap it when needed.... I hate living in CA. Cant wait to move out of here.

Buddy of mine had it done custom like that. Has a 4" dp going turbo back, when he needs to get his inspected he bolts the custom bracket they made to connect the stock system on.

Know what the funny thing is?

NC could care less about how your exhaust is run as long as it exits behind the cab.

That is exactly what I have... a cat delete pipe bolted in and a muffler delete pipe bolted after that.

Then I have the cat and muffler sitting on the shelf.
